In the area of insolvency, we take pride in the outstanding expertise of the Piperea & Asociaţii team coordinated by Gheorghe Piperea, Vice-president of the National Union of Insolvency Practitioners in Romania, board member of INSOL EUROPE, insolvency professor at University of Bucharest and author of many specialized published books and articles.

Within the insolvency procedure, we represent the interests of the creditors by assisting and counseling them in the creditors’ meetings and by representing them in procedures to annul potential harmful and/or fraudulent acts. We also represent the interests of the debtor and its administrators in legal procedures initiated to pierce the veil of personal accountability. Furthermore, we counsel and represent all participants involved in the procedure, including the indirect beneficiaries.

We offer to our long-term clients ongoing legal advice and counseling regarding the stage immediately prior to insolvency, as well as throughout the entire procedure. Moreover, we discuss and analyze with our clients all legal aspects involved in a relationship with a business partner that appears in a potential insolvency procedure in order to minimize potential losses to our clients.  Finally, we provide legal, financial and economic counseling to companies if a thorough assessment dictates a voluntary insolvency proceeding.
